Introducing CONSUL
After many years of wandering the digital wilderness, we have decided to develop a mobile accessible online community using CONSUL. The Consul project was initiated as part of a public civic engagement program by the City of Madrid.

We chose Consul because it has a mature development environment and a wide deployment across the world in many different organizations including the government. We currently have an iteration installed on a Dell Power Edge server with an Ubuntu 18.04 install.

The Consul is running on the development environment Ruby on Rails. We are in contact and consultation with a Ruby on Rails consultant based in Singapore. We currently engaging with the core development administrators from the Consul project.
We are also here (Squarespace) reporting to our members on the development of the community policies and common terminologies ie. Lexicon.
